Giorgos Tansarlis

Giorgos Tansarlis was born in Serres in 1976. He graduated in 2004 from the Fine Arts School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where he majored in painting under the guidance of V. Dimitreas and I. Fokas. He was nominated for the Panayiotis and Efi Micheli’s Foundation scholarship.

He was awarded an honorable mention by the judging committee of the Macedonian Museum of Modern Art in Thessaloniki for the exhibition “2003-2004 Graduates”, and a prize by the National Scholarships Foundation (“I.K.Y.”) for being distinguished both as a student and as a character.

In 2019 he participated in Art Athina (Zappeion Megaro) with Zina Athanassiadou Gallery.
