Milton Sarris

A native New Yorker who has lived in Athens for 28 years. He was an art director in Manhattan at various advertising agencies but left that career to pursue his desire to paint.

He works in acrylic on board. His influences are Matisse, Vallotton, various impressionist and naive artists. Renaissance portraits, icons, and Hollywood imagery of the 1950s have also influenced his work.

He has exhibited in solo shows and also in group exhibits in Athens, Mykonos, and Sikinos. His paintings are in private collections in Athens, New York, Palm Springs, Paris, Toulon, Berlin, Sweden, Hydra, and Aegina.
